Job summary

Tennessee Oncology is seeking a Registered Nurse with oncology experience to support the Operations Manager and serve as the clinical resource for patient care and processes. The role encompasses oversight of clinical operations in the absence of management during business hours.

Essential duties include staff assessments, ensuring safe infusion suite operation, maintaining drug inventory, assisting with audits, and mentoring clinical staff while ensuring accurate EMR data entry and adherence to

Qualifications

RN with oncology experience required.
ONS Chemotherapy – Immunotherapy certification required by hire.
ONCC certification required by hire or within 12 months.
BLS certification required at hire or within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Assist Operations Manager/Assistant Operations Manager in staff planning and clinical operations.
Provide expert oncology nursing care and support to clinical staff and patients.
Assist physicians with procedures and chemotherapy/infusion workflows.
Mentor and train new staff; ensure EMR documentation accuracy and completeness.
Investigate and resolve patient/visitor concerns and maintain a professional work environment.
