Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an RN Supervisor to oversee day-to-day nursing and operational activities in the Carle Cancer Institute's oncology clinic. You will provide clinical leadership, coordinate staffing and timekeeping, and ensure safe, high-quality patient care across the unit.

Qualifications

• Oncology RN experience preferred 1–2 years; 3–5 years total RN experience preferred.
• Ideal candidate has supervisor, lead, UNL or charge nurse background.
• Experience in a clinic setting is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates daily nursing activities in the oncology clinic.
• Provides nursing leadership, clinical oversight, and operational support.
• Coordinates staffing, scheduling, and timekeeping; supervises staff performance evaluations.
• Participates in interviewing, hiring and termination decisions.
• Ensures high quality, cost-effective department performance.
• Assists in development and review of department policies and competencies.
• Holds regular staff meetings and conducts annual evaluations.
