Job summary

Oncology Hematology Associates is seeking a Lead Registered Nurse to plan, direct, and evaluate nursing care across the clinic, coordinating nurses and pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations and patient care. The role involves overseeing staff education, incident reporting, and adherence to JBIs and regulations.

The Lead role adds leadership duties to the standard RN responsibilities, including collaboration with CNM/RDN and participation in clinical policy updates and research

Qualifications

• Unencumbered RN license in the state of employment.
• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in nursing required.
• Certification in Oncology Nursing (OCN) within two years of employment.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid state driver’s license for travel to satellite offices and offsite meetings.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and evaluate nursing care and functions of the clinic.
• Coordinate unit activities and assign work to nurses and pharmacy technicians.
• Monitor, educate, and support nursing staff on patient care.
• Institute emergency procedures as necessary and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead clinic staffing, training, and performance feedback in collaboration with CNM/RDN.
