Job summary

American Oncology Network is seeking a Lead Registered Nurse to collaborate with the Clinical Nurse Manager and Regional Director of Nursing to plan, direct, and evaluate the clinic’s nursing care and functions. You will coordinate unit activities, assign work to nurses and pharmacy technicians, and ensure education for patient care while maintaining compliance with JBIs and regulations.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered RN license in the state of employment or multi‑state licensure.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in nursing is required.
• Certification (OCN) within two years of employment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and evaluate the nursing care and functions of the clinic.
• Coordinate unit activities and assign work to nurses and pharmacy technicians.
• Assess, monitor, and educate nursing staff on patient care; institute emergency procedures when needed.
• Ensure compliance with JBIs and regulations across assigned areas.
• Collaborate with CNM/RDN to provide daily direction and maintain a high‑quality work environment.
