Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Client Lab Coordinator - Oncology I in Lewisville, TX, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. This role handles client communications, test questions, and order modifications for Oncology specimens, ensuring accurate records and timely results.

Responsibilities include responding to inquiries, documenting calls, providing lab results per protocol, and coordinating with laboratories and clinicians to resolve issues and prevent delays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years in clinical laboratory, customer service, specimen handling or problem resolution.
• Strong communication and basic knowledge of lab terminology.
• Ability to learn Oncology compliance and test ordering processes.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred; HS diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries by phone, fax or email about patient results and tests.
• Document call history and maintain accurate records in the system.
• Provide lab results to clients using established protocols.
• Investigate pending orders and handle test additions and modifications.
• Coordinate with internal departments to avoid delays and ensure quality service.
• Support liaison between client and technical/medical teams.
