Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Inc. is seeking a Client/Lab Associate – Oncology I in Lewisville, TX. The role supports Oncology specimen processing, order entry, and compliance with test ordering regulations. Work is Tue–Sat, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with pay range $18.39–$27.58 per hour.

The position emphasizes accuracy, quality, and adherence to safety policies, with potential performance bonus consideration based on results.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of lab experience required.

Responsibilities

• Handle all paraffin tissue blocks/slides and Oncology specimens.
• Identify Oncology specimens in kit boxes and red/purple bags.
• Open and sort specimens by priority per Quality Check protocol.
• Process samples in multiple systems and determine order type (electronic/manual).
• Capture images of blocks and upload scans to repository.
• Research test ordering information on forms and computer systems.
• Communicate professionally, verbally and in writing.
