Job summary

Texas Oncology in Dallas is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team on a PRN basis. Typical hours are Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:00pm, supporting the Dallas Presbyterian location.

The role covers patient care duties, phlebotomy prep, and clinic support under supervision, with opportunities for growth across levels 1, 2, or Sr based on experience. Experience ranges from entry to senior, with training in BCLS and adherence to compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; MA certificate preferred.
• 0–3 years of MA or nursing assistant experience for entry level.
• Current BCLS certification within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and maintain patient flow.
• Record vitals, allergies, and medications prior to visits.
• Prepare and stock exam rooms and assist physicians with exams/procedures.
• Administer subcutaneous and intramuscular injections as delegated.
• Maintain infection control and room cleanliness.
• Answer calls and relay messages; document communications.
