Job summary

McKesson seeks a Clinical Case Educator who is a licensed RN to support patients enrolled in the Medication Therapy Program via telehealth. The role requires strong communication, problem solving, and self-motivation as you counsel patients and report adverse events.

Position is hybrid with offices in Cary, NC or Fort Worth, TX and requires commuting twice weekly. Relevant oncology experience is preferred, with a baseline 4+ years of nursing practice.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.
• Active RN license in NC/TX.
• Associates, Bachelor or higher degree in Nursing or accredited nursing diploma.

Responsibilities

• Counsel and educate patients on specialty drug therapies.
• Adherence to contracted and accrediting regulations.
• Document thoroughly and in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Discuss potential/current side effects with patients to educate about treatment options.
• Identify and report adverse events and product complaints to authorities.
• Specialty drug verification and education, provider/patient conduit to support longevity of therapy.
• Adhere to patient management programs through call cadence schedules and provider collaboration.
• Maintain patient demographics and medical history per HIPAA standards.
• Collaborate with Pharmacy Support teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of specialty drugs.
