Job summary

Tufts Medicine's Lowell General Hospital Oncology Care Unit is seeking a registered nurse to provide professional nursing care in accordance with physician orders, with a focus on patient and family needs in the malignant disease setting. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for a defined patient group, following policies and practice standards.

This full-time evening shift role requires Massachusetts RN licensure, BLS certification, and relevant department credentials.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN Licensure is required.
• Current BLS Certification required.
• Evidence-based practice and clinical assessment skills.
• Experience level based on RN level I–IV per the listed care pathway.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care per physician orders.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Provide patient and family education.
• Coordinate care with healthcare team and departments.
• Support discharge planning and community referrals.
