Job summary

The Breast Surgical-Oncology RN Coordinator at Duke Cancer Center Clinic 2-2 in Durham, NC, delivers patient education and coordinates multidisciplinary cancer care per physician orders. The role supports timely access to quality care and navigation for patients and families throughout the cancer continuum.

Four days per week, 10-hour days (7:30 am–6:00 pm), with no weekends or holidays, offering collaboration with a diverse care team and opportunities for professional growth in a high-volume

Qualifications

• BSN degree required and NC RN licensure in good standing.
• Twelve months of relevant clinical experience required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• oncology knowledge and patient education skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care with physicians, APPs, clinic staff and family caregivers.
• Provide education on treatment options and care plans.
• Assist with pre-surgical teaching and follow-up.
• Manage appointments, referrals and test results.
• Support insurance and administrative tasks as needed.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care across the cancer continuum.
