Job summary

Duke Health in Durham, NC is seeking a Breast Surgical-Oncology RN Coordinator for the Duke Cancer Center Clinic 2-2. This role coordinates patient care across the cancer continuum, provides education, and supports a multidisciplinary team to ensure timely access to high-quality care.

Responsibilities include in-clinic and administrative duties, pre-surgical teaching, follow-up, insurance support, and coordinating Home Health Services as needed.

Qualifications

• BSN required and NC RN licensure; BLS required.
• Twelve months of oncology clinical experience recommended.
• Strong communication and education skills for patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cancer care with multidisciplinary team.
• Provide pre-surgical teaching and follow-up.
• Assist with insurance and family medical leave paperwork.
• Coordinate Home Health Services and medical supplies as needed.
• Triage and manage patient messages and test results.
