Job summary

Duke University Health System in Durham, NC seeks a Registered Nurse Coordinator for the Cancer Center Clinic 2-2 Breast Surgical Oncology. The RN Coordinator works with a multidisciplinary team, providing education, care coordination, and timely access to services.

This role involves 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (7:30 am–6:00 pm), pre-surgical teaching, follow-up, and coordination of labs, procedures, and medications. Requires BSN and NC RN licensure; oncology experience preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN degree and current NC RN licensure required.
• Minimum 12 months of clinical nursing experience.
• Oncology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide education and resources to patients and families.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary cancer care team.
• Conduct pre-surgical teaching and follow-up.
• Route and manage clinic visit orders and lab results.
• Assist with coordination of labs, scans, and medications.
