Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare billing, revenue cycle, or medical claims in oncology or complex procedures.
• Understanding of insurance requirements and prior authorizations.
• Experience with hospital/physician/oncology billing and reviewing documentation for accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit complex inpatient and outpatient medical claims.
• Ensure accurate billing for high-cost medications, biologics, implants, and oncology procedures.
• Review documentation, coding, and charges to support accurate reimbursement.
• Verify authorizations and ensure payer requirements are met before submitting claims.
• Investigate, resolve, and appeal denied claims.
• Monitor payer policies and reimbursement guidelines for compliance.
• Handle patient and payer inquiries with professionalism and compassion.
• Identify process improvements to reduce denials and revenue loss.
• Support audits and cross-department collaboration to optimize billing outcomes.
