Job summary

Urology Clinics of North Texas is seeking an Oncology Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage and resolve insurance and patient receivables for the Oncology service line. This role requires knowledge of oncology billing, infusion cycles, and chemotherapy regimens, with focus on timely follow-up and accurate posting of adjustments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; medical or business education preferred.
• Experience in Urology/Oncology billing and infusion services is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, insurance plans, claims, and billing processes.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on oncology claims from billing through final resolution.
• Review EOBs and initiate appeals when necessary.
• Post account adjustments based on third-party communications.
• Communicate with patients about balances and establish payment plans.
• Monitor schedules and coordinate with front desk on payments.
• Update patient records with correct billing information.
• Handle inbound calls from payers and patients regarding billing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
