Qualifications

• Proficient in medical billing and insurance reimbursement processes.
• Thorough understanding of ICD-10 and CPT, with HCPCS/modifiers knowledge preferred.
• Experience using Epic or similar revenue cycle software.

Responsibilities

• Manage AR for assigned payors, analyze denials, and correct billing issues.
• Perform follow-up with insurers and address overdue claims.
• Review EOBs for accurate payments and report discrepancies.
• Document collection efforts in the EMR with standard notes.
• Assist patients with billing inquiries and payment plans.
