Job summary

The ideal candidate holds an NP or PA license in Texas, a master’s degree, and oncology experience, with strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate from an accredited NP or PA program and hold a Master’s degree.
• APRN or PA license in Texas; prescriptive privileges or eligibility.
• ANCC or ONS certification (AOCN-P) and current BLS required.
• Minimum 5 years Oncology APRN/PA experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical and psychosocial status via interview, history, and exams.
• Write prescriptions for medications, blood products, and follow-up tests per protocols.
• Participate in daily multidisciplinary rounds to ensure quality care.
• Provide on-call coverage and hospital rounds as needed.
• Document care accurately; HIPAA-compliant handling of records.
• Communicate treatment plans to referring physicians and patients.
• Assist in marketing cancer treatment to the public and stakeholders.
