American Oncology Network (AON) is seeking an experienced APRN/PA to assist physicians in patient care and education at Memorial City. The role involves evaluating patients, managing medications, and supporting trial eligibility while maintaining HIPAA and practice protocols.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree, an active APRN/PA license, and at least five years in Oncology, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant program. Master’s degree required.
• APRN or PA license in appropriate state. Prescriptive privileges or eligible to apply. Current ANCC/ONS certification (AOCN-P). BLS.
• Minimum of 5 years experience as APRN or PA, specifically in Oncology.

Responsabilités

• Assess the physical and psychosocial status of patients by means of interview, health history, physical examination, and diagnostic studies.
• Write prescriptions for medication, blood products and follow-up studies per protocol.
• Determine eligibility of patients for entry into clinical trials.
• Interpret and evaluate findings of studies/tests.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn and to remain flexible in the changing health care environment.
