Job summary

Oncology Consultants - Greater Heights is seeking a highly qualified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support physicians in patient care and teaching within our oncology program. The role includes clinical rounds, triage, documentation, and active participation in multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality cancer treatment.

Candidates must hold an APRN or PA license with prescriptive privileges, a master’s degree, ANCC/ONS certification, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited APRN or PA program; master's degree required.
• APRN or PA license in the applicable state with prescriptive privileges.
• Certification from ANCC or ONS (AOCN-P) and current BLS.
• Minimum 5 years oncology experience as APRN/PA; strong critical thinking and communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in care and teaching of patients in oncology settings.
• Perform rounds, triage patients, and provide on-call coverage as needed.
• Prepare and document patient histories, notes, and discharge summaries.
• Market and promote cancer treatment to the public.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
