Job summary

Tennessee Oncology in Nashville, TN seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (RN/PA) to deliver high-quality cancer care as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will assess, diagnose, and manage cancer-related conditions across prevention, screening, diagnosis, active treatment, and palliative care settings.

Responsibilities include clinical assessments, orders/interpretations, patient education, and participation in clinical trials; on-call duties may apply.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN or PA in Tennessee
• Master’s degree in nursing or certification as PA required
• National certification for APP (ANCC, AANP) or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Assesses physical and psychosocial status of patients.
• Performs comprehensive health history and symptom-focused exams.
• Orders and interprets laboratory and diagnostic tests.
• Relays care plans to patients, caregivers and health team; collaborates with physicians.
• Provides care in cancer prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment and palliative care.
• Participates in clinical trials and education of staff and patients.
• Maintains certifications (e.g., BLS) and adheres to practice guidelines.
• May provide on-call coverage as needed.
