Job summary

Tennessee Oncology is seeking a highly motivated Advanced Practice Provider to join our oncology care team. The APP will assess patients, coordinate care, and contribute to clinical trials across multiple community locations.

The role requires an RN or PA license, a master’s degree or equivalent certification, and national APP certification with oncology experience preferred. On-site work with collaborative multidisciplinary teams and ongoing certification maintenance are expected.

Qualifications

• RN or PA license in Tennessee.
• Master’s degree in nursing or PA certification.
• National APP certification (ANCC or AANP) required.
• Minimum of one year oncology nurse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical and psychosocial status of patients.
• Document comprehensive health history.
• Perform and document complete physical exams.
• Identify eligible patients for clinical trials.
• Communicate plan of care to patient, family, and team.
• Write prescriptions and manage treatment plans per protocols.
• Maintain BLS and certification as required.
