Job summary

UAB Medicine seeks an experienced oncology RN to provide ambulatory nursing care to adults with hematologic and oncologic diseases. You will deliver care using the nursing process, coordinate with the interdisciplinary team, and ensure high-quality patient care in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements include an Associate's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred), Alabama RN licensure, CPR certification, and 2+ years of nursing experience. ACLS/PALS may be required for specific positions.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license or eligibility in Alabama required.
• CPR certification required or to be obtained within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional ambulatory nursing care to adults with hematologic/oncologic diseases.
• Apply nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.
