SCRI Oncology Partners in Nashville seeks a highly qualified Advanced Practice Provider, including Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, to deliver comprehensive cancer care. The APP works under physician supervision and collaborates across the care team to support patients through prevention, screening, management, and clinical trial involvement.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, patient education, and coordination with researchers affiliated with SCRI.

Qualifications

• MSN from an accredited nursing school and NP program completed.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a practicing Nurse Practitioner, preferably in Oncology.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for oncology patients.
• Prescribe therapies and document patient/family response.
• Perform procedures with minimal supervision.
• Provide education to patients and families.
• Promote wellness and connect to community resources.
• Integrate evidence-based research into practice.
• Complete patient charge capture and medical record documentation.
• May provide case management for patients and families.
• May mentor and precept APP students.
