Job summary

Tennessee Oncology is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our network of community-based cancer care specialists. The APP will assess patients, order tests, prescribe therapies, and collaborate with the care team to deliver high-quality cancer care close to home.

Applicants must hold TN RN or PA licensure, a Master’s degree in nursing or PA certification, and national APP certification. On-call coverage may be required and ongoing certification is expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing or PA certification is required.
• National certification as APP (ANCC or AANP) or CNS with prescriptive authority is required.
• TN license to practice as RN or PA is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess the physical and psychosocial status of patients.
• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests.
• Communicate care plan with patient, family, and health team.
• Provide prescriptions and therapies per protocols.
• Maintain APP certifications and on-call duties as needed.
