Johns Hopkins Medicine seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join the Oncology Evaluation and Treatment Center (OETC). The APP will deliver high-quality care to oncology patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive treatment and support.

The role involves 12-hour rotating shifts (7a–7p, 11a–11p, 7p–7a), in a hospital setting with opportunities to participate in clinical trials and research.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing or PA Studies.
• Current licensure as NP or PA in Maryland.
• National certification as NP or PA.
• Minimum of 2 years oncology experience.
• Strong oncology care skills including chemotherapy administration and symptom management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive assessments including history, exam, and diagnostics.
• Develop and implement individualized oncology care plans with the team.
• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other prescribed treatments.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families about diagnosis, options, and symptom management.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
• Participate in oncology clinical trials and research initiatives.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with policies and regulations.
