Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD seeks an Advanced Practice Provider to join the Oncology Evaluation and Treatment Center (OETC). The APP will provide high-quality care to oncology patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Schedule features 12-hour rotating shifts (7a–7p, 11a–11p, 7p–7a). Requirements include NP/PA licensure, Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing or PA Studies, national certification, and at least 2 years oncology experience. Full-time employment offered.

Qualificações

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
• Current MD/NP/PA licensure in Maryland.
• National certification as NP or PA.
• Minimum of 2 years oncology experience; hospital setting preferred.
• Strong oncology care skills including chemotherapy administration and symptom management.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive assessments including history, exams, and diagnostics.
• Develop and implement individualized oncology care plans with the team.
• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other prescribed treatments.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Educate patients and families about diagnosis, options, and symptom management.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
• Participate in oncology trials and research initiatives.
• Maintain accurate patient records per hospital policy and regulatory requirements.
