Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider to join our Medical Oncology team. This role involves managing care for Hematology and Oncology patients through consults and outpatient care.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse in designated specialty required.
• Physician Assistant will be considered as well.
• BLS provider certification required.
• ACLS, NRP, EFM, and PALs required for some departments.
• Holds a DEA license for controlled substances or ability to obtain.
• Minimum of 2-3 years recent and relevant APP experience in oncology.

Responsibilities

• Manage the care of Hematology and Oncology patients.
• See inpatient consults as well as patients in clinic.
• Round on patients receiving chemotherapy in the outpatient infusion center.
