Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System in Columbus, Ohio, seeks a full-time Advanced Practice Provider for Medical Oncology. The APP will manage Hematology and Oncology patients, see inpatient consults and rounds for chemo patients in the infusion center, with a Monday–Friday day shift.

Required: Masters in Nursing or related field, Ohio RN license, ANCC certification preferred; PA considered. BLS, ACLS/NRP/EFM and PALs may be required for some departments; DEA license or eligible.

Qualifications

  • Masters required in Science, Nursing or Specialty field and graduate of an Advanced Practitioner program.
  • 2-3 years of oncology APP experience preferred or recent oncology experience with advanced training.
  • Current OH RN license and ANCC certification preferred; PA path considered as well.

Responsibilities

  • Manage hematology/oncology patients in clinic and inpatient consults.
  • Round on patients receiving chemotherapy in the outpatient infusion center.
  • Provide day-to-day advanced practice care within a multidisciplinary team.

Graduate of an Advanced Practitioner program* Licensure / Certification: Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Ohio* Certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse in designated specialty required.
