Job summary

Tennessee Oncology seeks a qualified Advanced Practice Provider (RN/PA) to join our community-based cancer care network. You will assess patients, collaborate with physicians, manage treatment plans, and support eligibility screening for clinical trials across multiple community locations.

The role emphasizes independent practice within established protocols, ongoing patient education, and coordination with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality cancer care.

Qualifications

• RN or PA licensure in Tennessee.
• Master’s degree in nursing or PA certification.
• National APP certification (ANCC or AANP) is required.
• Oncology experience preferred; transition from staff nurse if needed.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical and psychosocial status of patients.
• Document comprehensive health history and perform exams.
• Participate in management of cancer patients and coordination of trials.
• Order tests and interpret results; liaise with supervising physician.
