Job summary

The Cancer Center of South Florida is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join the Tampa General Hospital Cancer Institute team, collaborating with the Outpatient Solid Tumor Oncology group to deliver high-quality cancer care.

The APP will assess, diagnose, and manage care for cancer patients, including education, health promotion, and coordination with the care team in a multidisciplinary setting.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing for NP pathway; active Florida license.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in PA program for PA pathway; active Florida PA license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive health history and physicals.
• Establish medical diagnoses with physician collaboration.
• Oversee treatment infusions and supportive care.
• Write orders within scope of practice, including chemotherapy.
• Manage general medical and surgical conditions and medications.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and survivorship.
• Participate in on-call coverage and oncology team activities.
