Job summary

The Cancer Center of South Florida in Tampa, FL, seeks an Advanced Practice Provider to work with the Outpatient Solid Tumor Oncology team at the Tampa General Hospital Cancer Institute. The APP functions as an independent clinician within a multidisciplinary setting, providing comprehensive care to cancer patients in active treatment.

Responsibilities include clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, education, and care coordination with physicians and staff across departments.

Qualifications

• NP/PA board-certified or eligible as applicable
• Active Florida RN and APRN licenses or PA license required
• Acute Oncology experience with supervisor MD verification or AOCNP certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive health history and physical assessments.
• Establish medical diagnoses with physician collaboration.
• Oversee treatment infusions and supportive care as needed.
• Write orders within scope of practice including chemotherapy.
• Manage outpatient clinical practice and coordinate care with care team.
