Job summary

Beebe Healthcare seeks an oncology-focused APRN or PA to provide follow-up care, assessments, diagnoses, and therapeutic procedures in collaboration with Beebe Medical Center’s Medical Oncology physicians. The role supports outpatient and inpatient care within approved scope and credentials, adhering to nursing standards and cancer center protocols.

You will contribute to patient education, participate in clinical trials, and help improve care processes within the department.

Qualifications

Master’s degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
Delaware RN license with APRN credentials.
ANCC or AANP certification; ongoing CME requirements.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient assessments and inform physicians as needed.
Demonstrate critical thinking in evaluation and test interpretation.
Maintain confidential, timely patient documentation with justification for therapies.
Develop a comprehensive care plan with appropriate referrals.
Perform clinical treatments and determine when to make referrals.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.
Provide health education on drugs and adverse effects; mentor staff.
Participate in cancer center clinical trials and related oversight.
Contribute to department performance improvement initiatives.
Fulfill other duties as assigned.
