Job summary

Beebe Healthcare seeks an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive oncology/hematology care. The role includes patient assessments, treatment oversight, survivorship planning, and collaboration with the medical oncology team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The incumbent will support infusion center activities, manage complex cases, and coordinate referrals while delivering education to patients and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Previous oncology clinical experience required.
• Licensure as an advanced practice clinician in Delaware or ability to obtain with offer letter.
• DEA licensure or ability to obtain prior to credentialing.
• Current BLS certification per American Heart Association guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive assessments for oncology/hematology patients.
• Manages complex oncology/hematology cases including side effects and treatment.
• Acts as primary clinical support for infusion center operations and triage.
• Develops survivorship care plans for curable cancer patients.
• Collaborates with palliative care for ongoing patient management.
• Coordinates care with PCP and specialty providers; educates patients and families.
