Job summary

Tanner Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to perform nursing duties and supervise RNs, LPNs, and assistive personnel in accordance with the state nurse practice act.

The role requires GA RN licensure and CPR, with certifications (ACLS/NRP/PALS) per unit needs and timely compliance with licensure requirements while delivering high-quality patient care across ages and populations.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 6 months of hire into ED, ICU, Surgery, PACU, L&D, SSU if GI call or Cath Lab
• NRP within one year of hire into Nursery and L&D
• PALS within one year of hire in PACU
• SCIPP required within 90 days of hire into Willowbrooke

Responsibilities

• CARE ACROSS THE LIFESPAN: assess and interpret patient data, educate families, and adapt care for diverse ages.
• PATIENT ASSESSMENT PLANNING CARE: plan and document care, set priorities, coordinate with physicians and health team.
• PATIENT INTERVENTION AND EVALUATION: administer meds and fluids, educate patients, and ensure safe care.
• PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: stay current with state, federal regulations and hospital policies; complete ongoing education.
• TEAM MEMBER: support colleagues, attend meetings, and manage supplies.
