Job summary

Tanner Health in Carrollton, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Oncology Acute Care. The role covers night shifts and involves direct nursing care and supervision of RNs, LPNs, and assistive staff according to the state nurse practice act.

The RN assesses patient needs, plans and implements care, and evaluates outcomes. GA RN license and CPR are required; ACLS/NRP/PALS and SCIPP training are expected within specified timeframes.

Qualifications

GA RN license or multi-state license.
CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
ACLS within 6 months of hire into ED, ICU, Surgery, PACU, L&D, SSU if GI call or Cath Lab.
NRP within 1 year of hire into Nursery and L&D.
PALS within 1 year of hire in PACU.
SCIPP required within 90 days of hire into Willowbrooke.

Responsibilities

Assess patient needs and plan/implement care.
Supervise other RNs, LPNs, and assistive personnel in nursing care.
