Job summary

Tanner is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Oncology Acute Care on nights (PRN). The RN will assess patient needs, plan and implement care, and evaluate outcomes while supervising other nursing staff. Licensure in Georgia or a multistate license is required along with CPR, ACLS, NRP and PALS certifications within specified timelines.

Position involves non-remote, 12-hour night shifts with variable days per Tanner policy. See Education and Licenses sections for full requirements.

Qualifications

• Georgia RN license or multistate license required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire for ED/ICU/Surgery/PACU/L&D/SSU/Cath Lab.
• NRP required within 1 year of hire into Nursery and L&D.
• PALS required within 1 year of hire in PACU.
• SCIPP required within 90 days of hire into Willowbrooke.

Responsibilities

• Provide and supervise nursing care per state nurse practice act.
• Assess patients, plan and implement care, evaluate outcomes.
• Supervise RNs, LPNs, and assistive personnel as needed.

Education

Georgia RN License or Multistate Nursing License

Healthcare Provider CPR (or obtained within 30 days of hire)

ACLS within 6 months of hire into ED, ICU, Surgery, PACU, L&D, SSU if GI call or Cath Lab

NRP within 1 year of hire into Nursery and L&D

PALS within 1 year of hire in PACU

SCIPP within 90 days of hire into Willowbrooke
