Job summary

Wolt is seeking an Onboarding Team Lead based in Budapest to drive the German onboarding pipeline. You will lead a 12-person onboarding team, oversee speed and quality of partner setups, and coordinate with Sales, Account Management, Product, and the German onboarding team to resolve blockers.

You will monitor onboarding KPIs, ensure data quality, and manage capacity across holidays and peak times, all while advocating for process improvements and a high-standard partner experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience leading a team of 8+ people.
• 3+ years of experience in operations in a fast-paced environment (marketplace, e-commerce, or shared service).
• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
• Comfortable working with data, KPIs and dashboards to drive decisions.
• Structured and detail-oriented; maintain pipelines, timelines and data accurately.
• Ownership mindset; identify process improvements and drive changes independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of 12 FTE onboarding specialists, support them daily, and spot knowledge gaps and training needs.
• Own the onboarding pipeline so it always reflects reality. Assign new venues the same day; manage follow-ups, on-hold reasons, escalations and offboarding.
• Track the team's onboarding KPIs (time to onboard, new live venues) and flag deviations early.
• Collaborate with Sales, Account Management, Product and Onboarding Ops in Germany to identify blockers and improve onboarding.
• Maintain high data quality by validating issues before escalation; report bugs daily and ensure partner data is accurate.
• Plan capacity for holidays, business trips and short weeks to avoid unassigned partners.
