Job summary

Servexo Protective Services is hiring an Onboarding Specialist to guide new hires from offer acceptance through their first day on post. The role owns Phase 2 of the recruiting pipeline, ensuring a compliant and timely onboarding process for remote new hires in Texas.

You will coordinate Paycom setup, document packets, I-9 verification, background checks, and drug screening where applicable. Excellent communication and independent work in a fully remote environment are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of onboarding and HR coordination experience.
• Strong organizational skills; able to manage multiple candidates through a multi-step process.
• Experience with HRIS/ATS platforms (Paycom a plus).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Familiarity with I-9 verification and background screening processes preferred.
• Government contracting or security industry experience a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Confirm offer acceptance and initiate Paycom New Hire Guided Setup.
• Assign and monitor completion of onboarding document packets in Paycom ESS.
• Track and ensure timely completion of Form I-9 verification.
• Coordinate background checks, VA/government clearance, and drug screening as applicable.
• Serve as main contact for onboarding, resolving document/process hold-ups.
• Escalate delays or missing documentation promptly to keep candidates moving.
• Hand off ready candidates to orientation/operations team for New Hire Orientation and deployment.
• Maintain accurate records in Paycom and Monday.com tracker.

We're growing our recruiting team and looking for an organized, detail-driven Onboarding Specialist to guide new hires from offer acceptance through their first day on post.**Position Summary**The Onboarding Specialist owns new hire processing from the moment an offer is accepted through readiness for deployment, taking full ownership of Phase 2 of Servexo's recruiting pipeline.
