TRC's client, a nationally recognized wealth management firm known for its client-first approach and long-term relationships is seeking a Onboarding Specialist to join their team.
Onboarding Specialist
The Onboarding Specialist supports the Sales Team throughout the new client onboarding process and serves as a liaison between clients, advisors, custodial partners, and internal teams. This role is responsible for ensuring a seamless onboarding experience by coordinating account-opening documentation, facilitating account funding and transfers, and serving as a resource for program-specific processes and requirements. The ideal candidate is highly organized, client-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced financial services environment.
Location: Addison, TX, Folsom or Colorado
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-5pm (40 hours/week)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to new clients throughout the onboarding process.
- Prepare and distribute new account paperwork and onboarding documents.
- Ensure timely completion and processing of all required account documentation.
- Coordinate the opening and funding of investment accounts, including individual, retirement, trust, and organizational accounts.
- Maintain accurate client records and onboarding notes within the CRM system.
- Meet established response times and service level expectations throughout the onboarding process.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, advisors, sales representatives, referral partners, custodians, and other stakeholders.
- Partner with internal sales and advisory teams to deliver a best-in-class client experience.
- Proactively identify and resolve onboarding issues while removing obstacles for clients.
- Take ownership of client requests and ensure timely follow-up and resolution.
- Assist in developing and improving onboarding processes and workflows.
- Support enhancements and updates to Salesforce and other internal systems.
- Serve as a resource for onboarding procedures, program requirements, and process improvements.
- Advocate for operational excellence and an exceptional client experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in client service, sales support, wealth management, RIA, or financial services.
- Experience with Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs) and Alternative Investments.
- Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM systems preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Must be in good compliance standing with all applicable regulations and company policies.
