Job summary

Boutique Recruiting in Houston seeks a Client Service Advisor to support high-net-worth clients within a wealth management setting. You will coordinate accounts, prepare materials for meetings, and ensure accurate, compliant processing of advisory and insurance paperwork.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's degree, 1–3 years in an RIA/wealth practice, and experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred). Strong organization, attention to detail, and superb communication are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience within an RIA, wealth management firm, or financial advisory practice.
  • Experience supporting high-net-worth individuals and families.
  • Knowledge of opening and funding accounts with multiple registration types, including trusts and complex ownership structures.
  • Understanding of life insurance processes and terminology highly preferred.
  • Experience using CRM, portfolio management, and document management systems; Salesforce experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with Schwab custodial platform is a plus.
  • Series 65, Series 7, or Series 66 license preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume, high-touch environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative mindset with a team-first approach.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for client service requests and account-related inquiries.
  • Schedule and prepare materials for client review meetings
  • Open, maintain, and service investment and advisory accounts across multiple registration types, including trusts and other complex ownership structures
  • Prepare and process paperwork for advisory accounts, financial plans, insurance policies, and annuities
  • Coordinate account transfers, rollovers, asset movements, wires, ACATs, EFTs, journals, charitable transfers, and other account transactions
  • Manage the underwriting process for new insurance policies by coordinating with carriers, BGAs/FMOs, and medical providers
  • Update client account information, beneficiaries, powers of attorney, account features, and related documentation
  • Monitor custodian alerts and proactively resolve account issues
  • Document all client interactions and activities within Salesforce CRM
  • Assist clients with online access and account login requests
  • Maintain organized electronic client files and ensure documentation remains current and compliant
  • Track outstanding tasks and follow through to ensure timely completion
  • Collaborate closely with advisors and internal team members to deliver an exceptional client experience
  • Support special projects and operational initiatives as needed
