Job summary

Juniper Square is hiring a senior role to lead onboarding and implementation of fund administration for private markets. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to onboard customers, migrate data, and set up accurate fund structures, reports, and controls.

The role requires deep fund accounting knowledge, people leadership, and a passion for technology to streamline onboarding and improve customer outcomes across a fast‑growing platform.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of fund accounting experience in private equity, venture capital, and/or real estate funds.
• 3+ years of people management experience (hiring, building teams, performance management, coaching, career development).
• Proven experience with customer onboarding, data migration, or implementations in a fund administration or fin‑tech environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Proven ability to independently identify, analyze, and resolve complex problems with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable with ambiguity within a hyper‑growth startup environment.
• Experience with fund‑level accounting and reporting, including complex fund structures and consolidations.
• Advanced understanding of complex accounting transactions, private equity investment structures, and reporting requirements for private equity funds.
• Passion for technology and a desire to use technology to improve business operations.
• Experience scoping out system requirements and implementing new systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding of new fund administration customers, coordinating with cross‑functional teams.
• Manage against project plans and onboarding milestones to ensure timely delivery.
• Interface with clients to deliver an outstanding onboarding experience.
• Serve as a technical accounting expert during onboarding.
• Improve onboarding workflows and apply best practices and efficiencies.
• Coordinate collection and review of offering documents and financial data.
• Reconcile customer data and verify final workspace setup before handoff.
• Identify product development opportunities and relay feedback to product teams.
• Participate in special projects as needed.
