Job summary

Juniper Square is seeking a Manager, Fund Administration to lead the fund accounting and reporting team across Private Equity, Real Estate, and Real Estate Loan funds. You will manage a group of fund accountants, shape the function, and deliver best-in-class client experiences by leveraging technology and scalable processes.

You will oversee workflows, audits, and reporting, partnering with clients and internal teams to ensure accurate allocations, statements, and financial disclosures.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of fund accounting experience in private equity, venture capital, real estate, and/or real estate loan funds.
• 3+ years of people management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Comfortable with ambiguity within a hyper-growth, startup environment.
• Experience with fund-level accounting and reporting including complex fund structures.
• Advanced understanding of waterfall, IRRs, distributions, and capital calls.
• Passion for technology and a desire to use tech to improve business operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic decisions regarding team buildout and operational policies.
• Develop and improve fund administration workflows with best-practice processes.
• Interface directly with clients to deliver outstanding service.
• Hire, train and manage a team of fund accountants.
• Oversee audits and prepare annual audit reports and disclosures.
• Provide guidance on recent accounting developments.
