Job summary

Juniper Square is seeking a Director of Fund Accounting to lead the Emerging Talent Program and oversee fund administration services. You will shape the function, set standards, and deliver a best-in-class experience for GPs and LPs, reporting to Senior Director, Fund Accounting.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of fund accounting experience in private equity, venture capital, real estate, and/or hedge funds. Experience working at a fund administrator is required.
• 5+ years of experience hiring, managing and developing a team of fund accountants, inclusive of entry level staff.
• Passion to develop and train entry level talent and providing coaching to ensure they are successful in their role.

Responsibilities

• Staffing and capacity management, including forecasting hiring needs with leadership.
• Hire, onboard and train a team of contributors and managers on fund accounting and internal procedures; guide through proficiency certification.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching; drive improvements in team satisfaction based on engagement surveys.
• Partner with enablement/training to enhance processes and content.
• Oversee fund administration service delivery, ensure timely deliverables, and manage client invoicing and contracts.
• Identify and implement initiatives to improve efficiency; collaborate with Product and Investor Services to scope new offerings.
• Oversee year-end audit process and maintain strong controls as the team scales.
