Job summary

NYC Health + Hospitals in New York City is seeking an Onboarding Specialist to guide new hires through onboarding, coordinate Occupational Health appointments, and ensure all documents meet policy and legal requirements.

You will enter candidate data into the HCM system, prepare offer letters, track onboarding progress, support hiring managers, and uphold confidentiality and compliance across the system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, public health, psychology, or related field.
• Associate degree plus 2 years HR experience, 1 year onboarding.
• SHRM/PHR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare offer letters and onboarding packages.
• Coordinate onboarding activities and health services appointments.
• Maintain confidential candidate records in the HCM system.
• Communicate onboarding progress to hiring managers.
• Ensure compliance with NYC policies and laws.
