Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as Onboard Trainer or L&D Coordinator.
• Strong presentation, communication and facilitation in multicultural environments.
• Leadership and interpersonal skills to guide crew and leadership team.
• Solid administrative skills; proficient with Word, Excel, databases.
• Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
• Guest-focused with professional appearance and hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all learning and e-learning programs on board.
• Deliver training courses such as the Viking Guest Service Excellence Program and Onboarding Program.
• Provide coaching to Department Heads, Supervisors and Crew Members for career growth.
• Maintain training records in MXP with accurate data entry and reporting.
• Support the Crew Purser with sign-on during periods of high crew turnover.
• Schedule the monthly training calendar with HR and operations.
• Collaborate with onboard leadership to assess crew performance and identify improvements.
• Support a multicultural team to maximise crew satisfaction, productivity and retention.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and report quarterly to L&D.
• Participate in Train-the-Trainer sessions and learning meetings.
• Coordinate and manage the crew welfare program and activities.
• Oversee bicycle rental program and maintenance.
• Manage inventory for welfare and training supplies.
• Wear PPE and follow lifting techniques; uphold grooming standards.
• Contribute to KPI goals and safety/security procedures; participate in related training.
• Participate in special projects directed by HR Manager.
