RailPros is seeking a Roadway Worker in Charge (RWIC) to operate on and around live railroad tracks, coordinating job sites, dispatch communications, and on-track safety in both controlled and non-controlled tracks. The role demands thorough site briefings, adherence to safety rules, and accurate electronic reporting, including daily reports and setup forms.

Travel across multiple states is required, with overnight stays as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum RWIC experience; background checks and training mandatory.
• Ability to meet physical and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide required jobsite protection per rules and communicate with dispatchers.
• Conduct daily job briefings and ensure safety compliance.
• Submit electronic forms and maintain reports.
• Place signs and operate derail and locking devices as needed.
• Maintain communication with RWIC supervisors and teams.
