Job summary

RailPros is seeking a Roadway Worker in Charge (RWIC) to provide on-site roadway worker protection on and around live railroad tracks. You will coordinate job sites, manage dispatcher/train communications, and oversee On-Track Safety in controlled and non-controlled areas.

Responsibilities include daily job briefings, forms preparation, and equipment handling. The role requires travel across multiple states and adherence to safety and regulatory standards, contributing to a positive, inclusive

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years in Maintenance in Way (MOW) and/or TY&E.
• Up-West On-Track Worker and Operating Rules certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide required jobsite protection and radio comms with dispatchers and engineers.
• Conduct daily job briefings and ensure safety requirements are followed.
• Prepare electronic forms for flagging assignments, reports, and invoices.
• Place signs, derail, and operate related equipment as needed.
