National Railroad Safety Services, Inc. (NRSS) is seeking an Employee in Charge (EIC) to deliver on-track safety services for freight railroads, transit systems, and state DOTs.

This role requires extensive field presence and travel, with a focus on safe, compliant operations. You will set up safety tools, coordinate crews, and report daily field activities while maintaining open lines of communication with Dispatchers and Train Crews.

Qualifikationen

• Requires High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 2+ years in railroad maintenance environment.
• Proficiency with mobile devices for field coordination.
• Ability to complete required training.

Aufgaben

• Provide On-Track Safety setup (derails, track signs).
• Prepare daily field reports and report violations.
• Coordinate job-site activities.
• Maintain radio contact with Dispatchers and Train Crews.
• Lead safety briefings before entry to track.
• Enforce Railroad, State, and Federal policies.
