National Railroad Safety Services, Inc. (NRSS) seeks an Employee in Charge to provide essential on-track safety services for freight railways and transit systems. The role focuses on coordinating work on rights-of-way and ensuring compliance with safety policies.

The EIC will travel extensively (50–85%), operate with field teams, and complete daily reports while communicating with dispatchers. A valid driver's license, a high school diploma, and railroad experience are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with tablets, smartphones and coordination tools.
• Willingness to travel 50–85% as required.
• Valid driver's license and HS diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years railroad experience preferred (MOW).

Responsabilités

• Provide On-Track Safety: derails, track signs, and safety tools.
• Prepare daily field reports and report rule violations.
• Provide job-site coordination.
• Radio contact with Dispatchers and Train Crews to communicate safety.
• Conduct mandatory briefings before entry to the track.
• Enforce Railroad, State, and Federal policies.
