Job summary

National Railroad Safety Services, Inc. (NRSS) is seeking an Employee in Charge (EIC) to provide essential on-track safety services for freight railroads, transit systems, state DOTs, and rail industry partners.

The role requires setting up safety tools, daily reporting, and coordinating job-site activities with crews. The position involves extensive travel (50% to 85%), a valid driver's license, and completion of required safety trainings.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with tablets, smartphones, and coordination tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide On-Track Safety including setup of derails, track signs and safety tools.
• Prepare daily field reports and report rule violations.
• Provide job-site coordination and communication with Dispatchers and Train Crews.
