Job summary

Loram Maintenance of Way, Inc. in the United States seeks a Machine Operator 1 to operate, maintain and repair rail equipment in a field-based role.

You will perform inspections, report conditions, and follow safety procedures on track equipment, with travel as required. The ideal candidate has 2+ years mechanical/electrical experience, valid driver's license, safety certifications, and ability to document daily reports.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment physical exam and role-specific assessments.
• DOT physical exam and related testing may be required.
• Microsoft Windows proficiency and basic data system usage expected.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and repair Loram MOW equipment.
• Conduct machine inspections and report issues to supervision.
• Complete required daily field reporting and expense/lodging documentation.
